Sketches From the Rail is poker humor from the rail, narrated by the wife who watches every hand. Each episode is a short animated sketch — minimalist stick figures on watercolor — about tournament poker as seen from the best seat in the room that isn’t at the table: the rail.
We’re empty-nest cattle ranchers following the WSOP Circuit, one tournament town at a time. He plays. I manage the schedule, the snacks, the bankroll, and the running commentary. Expect honest bankroll talk, real tournament recaps, and the everyday comedy of a 50+ couple building their next chapter on the road: ranch days, travel days, casino tours, brutal downswings, big wins, and choosing to live life on our own terms.
